Eezypeazy and Guillyman are pleased to be able to offer the Object Building Service. We will be happy to construct photo-realistic vehicles, platforms, buildings - anything, really!
RULES:
1. IMAGES: You will need to provide us with “square on” front, back and sides of the objects you want us to build. You must be able to satisfy us that you own the copyright of any images you ask us to work with, or that you have obtained permission from the copyright owner for the images to be used. Please also supply us with any other useful information: the dimensions of the object in real life would be a good start, perhaps with reference to where we might find it on Google Earth, for example, if it’s a building.
2. TIMESCALE: Although we will “build to order”, we reserve the right to set our own timescales – this service is not going to interfere with our real lives! When we agree to construct an object for you, we will estimate how long it’s going to take and when you can expect to receive it.
3. AVAILABILITY: Keeping in the spirit of the BVE community, we would like these objects to be made as widely available as possible. Therefore we ask that, as well as being used as part of your route development, you allow the objects to be made freely available to the rest of the BVE community. Objects will be made available from eezypeazy’s object library, and, of course, you may also host them yourself on your own site.
4. FORMAT: Objects will be built in .csv or .b3d format. We will endeavour to construct objects using a minimum number of faces, in order to maintain game frame rates, consistent with producing an acceptable model.
5. DECISIONS: We reserve the right to politely decline to construct any specific object, and if we do decline to build it, we will not enter into any correspondence regarding our decision.
6. COSTS: Within the spirit of BVE, this service is provided entirely free of charge. However, we do not expect that we should incur any expense as a result of providing this service. So we will be unable to burn disks or deal with any enquiries by post. We anticipate that all contact, file exchange, etc., shall be carried out by email.
7. AGREEMENT: By placing a request for the Object Building Service, you will be deemed to have read and agreed to these rules.
