This route runs from Swalwell Jct on the Tyne Valley line to Berwick-upon-Tweed on the East Coast Main Line (ECML). Local trains between Swalwell, Newcastle, Morpeth, Chathill and Crag Mill Loop are modelled, plus main line passenger and freight services between Newcastle and Berwick.
You MUST have the British colour light signals, available from trainsimcentral, properly installed.
openBVE: ECML can be driven in openBVE, but note that it was written primarily for BVE 4; when using exterior views of trains you may see gaps in scenery. BVE 4 users could suffer game performance issues if I was to add all the object faces, so it may be some time before I do this. Click here for openBVE exterior views you can add to some trains.
BillEWS has produced an excellent guide to the speed limits and stops on the route. Click here to get a copy.
Terry Hutton has written a concise history of ECML: Northumberland. Click here to download your FREE copy.
BVE 2: Sorry, this route is not available for BVE 2.
The download will install the objects and routes in the default BVE 4 places. You may change this if you wish.
